So just over a week has passed since the epic conclusion to the HBO series Game of Thrones. So in the latest episode I'm joined by my brother Cory, and friend Christina. We discuss our initial reactions to the finale and how we felt about the series overall. I don't think there will ever be another show quite like Game of Thrones. It was truly cinematic groundbreaking television. TV has changed period, so much craft is put into now. With services like Netflix, Hulu, and AmazonPrime people love binge watching. Gone are the serial story format, some shows just feel like one long movie. You now get television shows with huge A-list cast and talent, some could argue the medium is surpassing the movies in terms of quality. It's going to be interesting to see what the lasting impact a show like Game of Thrones will have. Especially since it had already turned into a pop culture phenomenon long before the 8th and final season aired. So what were your thoughts on the finale and the series overall?
